Interesting twist huh? While we do play games to have a little fun, Luis von Ahn, an assistant professor in the computer science department at Carnegie Mellon University has figured out ways to solve complex problems that computer programs struggles to do.

It gets really interesting when those complex problems are solved just by playing the game, you dont even realize a complex problem is getting solved. So why I am talking about this in a search marketing blog.  Yes its very much relevant here.

Some search marketers do abuse the captions used to describe the images and this causes irrelevant images to be shown by the image search engines.  And image recognition remains a challenge even for a sophisticated computer program, but trivial for humans.
